Last August I was one of thousands who packed into the Point Theatre in Dublin to see George Michael perform as part of his 25th anniversary tour. That night, my friends and I -- who were all in nappies when George himself was strutting around in open Hawaiian shirts in the Club Tropicana video -- sang along to every lyric alongside die-hard thirty-- and forty-- somethings reliving their not-- so--distant youths.
