It will be interesting to see if Streep does win consecutively. If she does the race is over...if Bullock wins then we have some fun on our hands!
It is an important one for Meryl to gain ground. I watched The Blind Side last night. Cheese and crackers, it's a pretty average movie: cheesy, patronising and dripping in white guilt. Sandy is nicely sassy but shouldn't win an Oscar for it
I agree. I don't think she should even be nominated. But I also don't think Meryl deserves it either. Out of the five women ready for the Oscar nomination, I would definitely go for Carey Mulligan.
I really don't mind who wins, they're all lovely women who I enjoy watching. BUT if I had a choice of any female performance it would be Tilda Swinton in Julia - hands down!
