Even when we do get a film directed by and starring a cast of women, audiences are more likely to get a heaping dose of gendered stereotypes. Case in point: "Cracks," a film so vile for its depiction of the lesbian lead, only a woman could get away with making it.
Jordan Scott is my ranking lap cat of patriarchy at this point.
